When Mauro del Rio, one of our business angels, suggested me to create a company blog, I politely replied that we have so many things to do that no one would have time to maintain it in a decent way. End of discussion.
Last week a smart and professional associate from Bessemer Venture Partners, a world leading VC, contacted me to schedule a meeting. The first thing I did was to get some information about them in order to prepare the meeting. What I found was that David Cowan, a partner, was running a blog called "Who has time for this?". Ok, David in 2001 was #1 in the "Forbes Midas List". I guess he was a pretty busy person at that time! But despite the name of the blog, he found some time to do it.
Ok let's do it!
Lessons learned:
1) Listen to your investors, if they ever had success there was a reason.
2) Keep doing only what you think is right. Which, in most cases, violates rules #1 ;)
